2.4 Your Code and Project Data

JettyPod interacts with your local codebase and project files to provide AI-guided development assistance. We want to be transparent about how this data is handled:

• Local processing: Your source code and project files are processed locally on your device whenever possible.
• AI interactions: When you use AI-powered features, relevant context from your project may be sent to third-party AI providers (such as Anthropic or OpenAI) to generate responses. Only the context necessary to fulfill your request is transmitted.
• No code storage: We do not store your source code on our servers. Code snippets sent to AI providers are subject to those providers' data handling policies.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve the Service, including delivering AI-guided development workflows, structured cycle management, and onboarding experiences. We also use your information to communicate with you about updates, support requests, and service-related announcements. Additionally, we may use aggregated and anonymized usage data to analyze trends, improve our methodology, and develop new features.

4. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share information in the following circumstances:

• AI Service Providers: Project context necessary for AI-powered features is sent to third-party AI providers. These providers process your data according to their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.
